Dan is doing fine considering that he has been confined for 2 years for a crime he did not commit. You got to love the Phil judicial system. It takes forever for them decide an open and shut, slam dunk case. Dan's spirits are very good considering, and he is hoping to be exonerated very soon. It is definetly scenerio #2 except the biggest reason was the whore wanted to come to the U.S. to live to be with her fiancee. She was not even drunk and knew full well what she was doing. She was looking for a younger maybe more naive man to make her move and falsely accuse him of a crime he did not commit. scenario 1: she got raped... only one got sentenced while the other rapists walk free..

scenario 2: shes a bitch. wanted the sex. wanted the attention. wanted the money. drank with them, did them, then screwed them over.

either way, someones going to hell when he/she dies..

the only thing this event has taught us is this..
the RP government lacks a freakin backbone..
the US government still pushes to be govern and police the world..
the philippine goverment is still the americans' pet.

According to the news accounts, Dan Smith was a credible witness for himself. He was cool, calm and credible because he was telling the truth. His testimony got Nicole and her mother worried and that was when they had that public spat with their own lawyers. Remember when Nicole's own lawyer publicly denounced Nicole and her mother as liars and claimed that `sa simulat sapul ay sinungaling sila'? There was nothing wrong with Dan's testimony...Judge I-Cried-A-Lot Pozon was just not in his element. He probably devoted too much time watching soap opera and couldn't resist playing to the media and the militants who were supporting Nicole.

And talking about arrogance, it's Nicole who exhibited that trait many times during the course of the trial. She made a lot of demands like the cancellation of the VFA, even wanted to visit Dan at the jail, the list goes on. It's Nicole who wronged the 4 marines by falsely accusing them and willingly tried to unjustly send them all to life in prison because she was caught with her pants down after having consensual sex with a younger man who was probably more naive than Nicole.

Daniel showed arrogance during interviews so do the American culture of sex, gangsters and violence! Why should I not think he is not Guilty when he is. I am totally with Ms. Grace Santos, with Gwen, and with everyone else who have expressed concern over the contents of some of the comments posted here. I applaud them for making the first move to address this issue and reprimand the culprit/s.

We are here to express and show our support for Daniel Smith and to sympathize with him; he is the aggrieved one. If we are Dan's friends, then let us all act like we ought to.....the friends of Daniel Smith. Let us try to be more respectful and responsible with whatever we wish to say here. I'm sure Dan will appreciate it if we would refrain from speaking ill of Nicole and of her camp.

We were all brought together here in our belief that something had gone amiss in the judge's decision. And that is why this site has been called JUSTICE4DAN.

May we never cease praying fervently for that day when Daniel Smith's name is cleared of any wrongdoing.

Hi everyone...
I am so happy there is this kind of site for Daniel wherein his supporters could write comments about each article here.
I just would like to share this experience with you guys; I was having some sip of coffee when I overheard my professor talking about the Subic Rape Case and how he sympathized the "victim". I got irritated and transferred to his table and said, "Sir, you're wrong!...." and then we started to have a very argumentive conversation. He was actually shocked and even told me not to use harsh words on Nicole. Since then we became "debate pals"... See the effect of my ever-supportive spirit for Dan? Hehe
Anyway, I hope the Supreme Court would grant pardon on Danny's case. I really feel bad about him. His case with Nicole is supposed to be something in descreet but with the help of these stupid ralliests whom I consider morons, it has been sensationalized by the media. I wonder how much was being paid to these poor women to rally on streets... And to Nicole's mom, "Manang, kung ako nasa lugar n'yo, pagagalitan ko 'yang anak ko, kung bakit pa kase nakikipaglandi-an pa sa mga US servicemen...'yan tuloy, malaking kahihiyan nabigay sa pamilya n'yo. Don't tolerate her lies. You know the truth. And don't act like you are a personality Nicole because you're just one woman who is trying to clean up the mess you made."
Let us all hope and pray that justice would really prevail.

Ok, to "westlife", "shine" or whatever pseudoname you use, I am personally asking you to please cooperate, some people reading these might be getting pissed off now, I knew it for sure, perhaps Dan too, and the worst is if nicole's party could read it for sure they will be laughing out loud. So please if you want to say something, PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR WORDS. Let me try it in Tagalog... Pakiusap lamang po, kung may gusto kayong sabihin kay Dan, nawa'y gumamit po ng piling mga salita. Iwasan po sana nating gumamit ng mga salitang maaaring makairita sa iba o makapagpatawa sa iba.

I am also calling the attention of the Moderator of this site, if there is one, to do something about my concern. I see it like our freedom is "overflowing" now, too bad there is no such cyber law against it. I just need everyone's cooperation. Thanks a lot.

Ei Dan , i have always believed in your innocence.
Nicole? I know the background of their family...she is exposed to navy people and stuffs like that...i know her mom used to work at the multipurpose of the naval base in zamboanga city..nicole was just a kid when we used to hang out there..with the environment she grew up , it's so difficult to say she was raped. she wasn't. It just so happened that she wasn't able to have smith in her hads..yeah right , why did you go with Smith in the first place nicole?

I have a high opinion of young boys such as Carpentier, Duplantis, Silkwood and Smith who joined the armed forces to serve their country. During these times when the US is engaged in war, one takes a big risk when enlisting.

I believe you were falsely accused and sympathize with your sufferings over the past year. I can only imagine how it would feel to get in a van hoping to return to work on time and then find yourself incarcerated for a year and your name splashed all over the media for a crime you did not commit. Fortunately, more and more people are now realizing the truth. You all conducted yourselves with dignity during the trial that showed poise beyond your years.
